Evaluation
of the Search Assignment
For the success of a search assignment,
it is necessary for the employer, the candidate and the
recruiter to be in tune with each other, making an honest
evaluation of the aspirations and capabilities of all the parties involved.
How can it be achieved?
-
Have a sense of
purpose.
-
Draw guidelines
when assessing each other's needs, time, expense and
intentions.
-
Employer must
give accurate
information on earnings potential, experience needed,
the position offered, and the place of residence of the
new employee so the recruiter is able to find those
candidates that will be most in harmony with the job,
thus, offering a better performance of his or her
duties .
-
Candidates need to be realistic in their career goals ,
give a comprehensive account of their abilities and know
their limitations,
looking at the entire picture of the employment
opportunity with an open mind, be optimistic about his
growth opportunities within the new company, but keeping
a close attention to the objections presented during the
interviews.
Recruiter must listen carefully,
refer candidates with
a background that can be applied
effectively and profitably to the prospective job,
be the moderator between client and candidate, and be
resourceful enough to
present solutions in a given situation.
