President of Sales and Business Development is a leading Digital Flexo Prepress Company, established in 1998. Their diverse capabilities include digital solvent plates, digital FAST plates,  Continuous Polymer Sleeves, Macintosh DTP, Esko Software and Imagers and Kodak Approval Proofer. This client  is seeking a highly motivated senior sales manager to develop and follow new sales leads/accounts, manage established customer relationships.  The qualified candidate will plan, organize and implement innovative sales strategies, develop sales and profit margin goals and keep current on market conditions, competitive activities, and products.  We are looking for an energetic individual who is eager to grow the business and develop an aggressive sales team. 

Requirements include: At least 7 years direct selling experience Impressive accomplishments in account buildingStrong team player, Project management skills Excellent customer relations, time management and strong communication and interpersonal skills, Detail-oriented, self-starter who is currently  employed, Strong sales and negotiation skills, Ability to work independently, Outstanding verbal and presentation skills, Must have competent computer skills (MS Office for example.  )Consistently achieve sales goals and objectives. Manager of Business Development and Marketing  based in the Midwest,  relocation is required,  and  they will relocate within the contiguous 48 states is provided. No off shore candidates will be considered. 

RESPONSIBILITIES  This role is directly responsible for research and development of new business opportunities and expansion of business opportunities for current services and products.  Responsible for planning, initiating and directing market  research to determine trends, industry needs, and customer preferences, to optimize product and facilities planning, to develop targeted markets, to recommend pricing policy and to assist in the development of yearly and long range business plans. Responsible for locating or proposing potential business opportunities. Responsible for building market position. Responsible for developing positive business relationships that brings in new business, locating, defining, negotiating, and closing new business.   SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER  You must already be based and reside  in either Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota, Minnesota, or Oklahoma for this new packaging opportunity - you will also need to be able to travel at least 50%. NO RELOCATION is available  This position has a small base of  business about  $7 to 8 Million out west in various printed flexible packaging products used by the food and food processor industries. 

This client  needs a business hunter to dig up  new sales  so you must have the tools within yourself to have multiple balls or clients working their way through test runs until you get  a new client.  It also has some commodity printed  bags and pouches to keep you sustained while you are  developing the bigger more profitable poly/foil/poly or  paper/poly/foil accounts which earn you  larger commission checks on top of your base salary. Degree is preferred,  but if you have 10 good  years of experience and a $10 million dollar  book of  business,  the  degree  requirements will disappear most probably. Position has a car allowance and  expenses and a benefit package including Major Medical and a 401K and other benefits. 

This client doesn't want business maintainers or people satisfied with making just base salary you should interested in more such as  commission,    Base Salary is high 5 figures,  plus a commission program and base salary is is commensurate to your abilities. Which means if you currently control $10 million in packaging sales to food and food processing accounts and want to move to a progressive company which places a high value on being an innovator and  meeting customer needs,  the base salary will naturally be adjusted up to fit your needs,  based on the business you control in addition to the base of business they hand over to you.

FLEXOGRAPHIC & OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT POSITIONS IN PACKAGING

VP Plant Operations -  To be considered:  You will have multi plant experience at injection  molding  of a packaging product or container.  You must have  minimum  a BS Industrial Engineering or a BSME  Mechanical  Engineering  or  Manufacturing degree. The Vice President will lead a team who will manage multiple facilities around the United States in the operations within the plastic and paper packaging industry.  At least 10 years experience in a manufacturing environment that involves plastic injection molding, thermoforming and flexographic printing.   At least 5 years experience in the packaging industry managing multiple plants is preferred.  Candidates must possess technical skills in Lean,  Six Sigma process improvement techniques, ISO, materials requirement planning (MRP), Overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), distribution and product planning.    Employment history should show a record of strong results delivered, demonstrated leadership qualities, and demonstrated history of success in operations management (i.e. innovative solutions and measurable P/L outcomes)  Must be willing to travel

Quality Control Manager - looking for someone with strong flexographic printing experience to spot color inconsistencies   Details North  East based  Job requirements:  Experience working with Flexographic printing required  using wide web equipment.  The Quality control manager will be responsible for maintaining the quality and reliability of our products.   They inspect and test our products at various stages in the production process.  They will be required to set up and perform testing on materials or finished products to measure product performance under a variety of conditions and be responsible for the documentation of the test results. 

After products have been fully tested, the quality control manager will evaluate the data. They will prepare summaries to show how the product might differ from existing standards of quality and reliability. They may suggest changes in how products are made to achieve the best quality possible. They may also recommend methods to minimize the amount of scrap, or leftover material, which is thrown away after a product has been printed. Areas in which the quality control manager may specialize include product design, purchasing, inventory control, or research and development.   Candidates must have excellent communication skills. They must be able to deal effectively with company personnel on levels ranging from assembly line workers to top management. Full  benefits. Salary range in the 60's to low 70's.


Plant Supervisor - looking for someone with strong flexographic printing experience at least  8 colors  bag/pouch  background. Their  equipment is  10 color direct print and process printing to 133+ line screens. Capabilities to run substrates -  9 pound tissue to 100 pound paper and up to 25 gauge film Polyester, polypropylene, polyethylene and nylon.   Paid relocation to North East.   The Plant Supervisor is for our Bag/Pouch dept.  Supervises about 5 associates. They are looking for someone with wide web - bag/pouch experience. Salary range in the 60's. plus full benefits. This is not a plant manager's position.
